Roof Cleaning in Shrewsbury

Today the team at Bright Roof were over in Shrewsbury pressure washing a customers bungalow roof. 
The picture on the left shows how heavily soiled the roof was in moss.
The customer had noticed the moss falling into their gutters making them blocked and also dropping onto the floor around the house which made the property look untidy, not to mention the customer regularly having to go out and clean up the moss deposits from the floor.

Prior to carrying out the jet washing on the roof, our team visited the property earlier on in the week to do a full roof inspection and carry out any roof repairs necessary before the work went underway. We always ensure a roof is in good repair before roof cleaning is carried out to eliminate the risk of leaks within the home/property.
All repairs were complete and left to set before the team returned.

When the team returned to carry out the roof clean they covered all gutters to keep them free from debris during the clean. Also the customer and the neighbour was asked to move their car from the drive to prevent getting covered in debris from the roof.

Once the team were harnessed onto the roof the clean was started. Health and Safety is always key and first on the list with our team at Bright Roof.

As you can see and i'm sure you'll agree from the small amount that had been cleaned in the photo above that the transformation was already starting to look phenomenal.

Once the whole roof has been jet washed, we applied an Anti Fungal treatment to prolong any re-growth, this treatment is left on to work its magic.

Once the team are happy the whole roof is covered in the treatment they then go around the property ensuring it is also clean and no muck has been splattered anywhere.
Windows, frames, sils and doors were cleaned down along with the paths, patio and driveway. 
Although all of the gutters on the property were covered to prevent debris build up during the clean, the team do ​

still go around and check each gutter just incase any debris did manage to get into them, they would all be cleaned out and emptied.
We ensure the property is clear of all debris and muck and there is no trace of us being there other than the clean roof which as you can see on the photo below, looks like brand new.
